Altar Guild
The ladies of the Altar Guild help with the linens, flowers and/or sewing needs for the altar. Laundering of linens or arranging flowers for the altar is approximately once every four to six weeks. For more information, please call the parish office.
Altar Servers
Our parish altar servers strive to give glory to God through service at His holy altar. They serve at High and Low Masses, Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, and other liturgical ceremonies as acolytes, torchbearers, crucifers and in other capacities. This privilege is open to men and boys who have received their first Holy Communion. For those willing to make serving at Mass a priority, we established in 2019 a chapter of the Guild of St. Stephen, which meets on the first Saturday of each month after the 9 am Mass. Those who would like to serve at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and are unable to join the Guild of St. Stephen are also welcome to do so. Those in either category should contact one of the priests for training, or just show up for the monthly meeting of the Guild of St. Stephen.
CCD Program
The parish program for Catholic education (CCD) provides our students an environment conducive to their highest spiritual, intellectual, and moral development. Parents are as much a part of it as their children, and the parish works as a partner in their children’s Catholic formation. We help parents prepare their children: (1) to seek what is transcendent and eternal, and (2) to succeed in the family, business, and community. For more information, visit CCD Program.
Choir
The music program comprises a men’s schola cantorum, a women’s schola, a mixed ensemble, and a quartet. The two scholas adorn the liturgy by devotedly singing traditional plainchants from the entire liturgical year, principally at Mass. On most Sundays and feast days, the scholas are joined by a mixed choral ensemble with a repertoire of hymns and motets taken from the Catholic Church’s bounteous musical patrimony. Columbian Squires
The Columbian Squires is the official youth organization of the Knights of Columbus. Membership is open to boys ages 10-18. It has over 25,000 members in over 1,500 cities. The organization concentrates on spiritual, social, civic, cultural, and physical development in its members. The circle holds meetings on the second Sunday of each month at 1:15 pm at the church. Fathers do not have to be a member of the Knights of Columbus nor a member of the parish for their sons to join. Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus was formed in 1882 in New Haven CT by Fr. Michael McGivney to render financial aid to members and their families. Now numbering 1.8 million knights in 14,000 councils world-wide, the Knights of Columbus is the world’s foremost Catholic fraternal benefit society, helping families obtain economic security and stability through its life insurance, annuity and long-term care programs. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works. The Order contributes time and energy worldwide to service in communities.
Lumen Christi Council meets at the church every second Monday of the month for fellowship, reporting on projects and spiritual reflection. The Rosary is recited in the church at 6:30pm, followed by dinner in the parish hall at 6:45pm. The council meeting begins at 7:30pm. Legion of Mary
The Legion of Mary is a Catholic lay association founded in Dublin, Ireland in 1921 by Frank Duff as a Roman Catholic Marian Movement. Numbering over 3 million members worldwide, it is the largest apostolic organization of lay people in the Catholic Church. There are two memberships available – active and auxiliary. Active members serve God under the banner of Mary by practicing the Spiritual Works of Mercy. The auxiliary members are the praying arm of the Legion: they commit to praying a Rosary each day as well as the prayers in the prayer book of the Legion, the Tessera.

St. Gerard Ministry
If you are currently pregnant and would like to be added to the St. Gerard Prayer and Meal Ministry, please contact us at stgerardministry at gmail.com. Members of the ministry will pray for a healthy pregnancy and delivery, as well as assist in meals after the birth of your child. Please also contact us if you would be able to assist in prayer and occasional meal preparation for the families on our St. Gerard list.
